Where are you based?

We’re based in London and run in‑person courses at venues across central London We also deliver remote training for candidates across the UK and overseas.

What experience do you have delivering MRCEM/FRCEM prep?

Our teaching team are practicing Emergency Medicine clinicians and educators who’ve prepared hundreds of candidates across MRCEM Primary, SBA and OSCE, and FRCEM. We use current RCEM curriculum SLOs and live exam regulations to shape every session.

Who are your faculty and what are their clinical/teaching credentials?

Our faculty includes EM Consultants and Senior Registrars. Bios and credentials are available on request and on our Tutors page.

Are you affiliated with or endorsed by RCEM?

No – Bridge Medical is an independent training provider. We align our material to the RCEM Curriculum and official exam regulations, but we are not affiliated with RCEM.

What’s your teaching philosophy (simulation, coaching, feedback)?

Short theory bursts, lots of deliberate practice, and targeted feedback mapped to RCEM SLOs. OSCE sessions prioritise realistic timing, structured frameworks, and examiner‑style feedback.

How big are your classes? What’s the tutor‑to‑candidate ratio?

We keep groups intentionally small so you get repeated reps, personalised critique, and time for questions.

Can I speak with a tutor before booking to check fit?

Do you collect pass‑rate and satisfaction data? Can I see testimonials?

Yes – after each sitting, we share anonymised survey results and recent testimonials. Ask us for the latest snapshot if it’s not on the site yet.

What makes Bridge Medical different from other providers?

Focused EM faculty, high practice‑to‑theory ratio, and structured feedback against SLOs from practicing ED consultants. You’ll leave with a clear revision plan and targeted actions for your weak areas.

Courses & Formats

Do you do remote training as well as in‑person?

Yes – every course has live online dates. In‑person options are available in central London.

Which courses do you run?

We currently focus on MRCEM OSCE. Each course is mapped to the 2021 RCEM Curriculum SLOs.

How closely are your courses mapped to the RCEM curriculum and SLOs?

All sessions, checklists, and feedback are aligned to the RCEM 2021 Curriculum and exam SLOs. We signpost to official RCEM resources so you can cross‑check.

How much hands‑on OSCE practice time will I get?

Expect multiple full‑timed stations with examiner‑style feedback and repeat runs – our priority is deliberate practice.

How often do you update content to reflect RCEM exam changes?

Continuously. We track RCEM regulations, news, and exam updates and refresh slides, stations, and mocks accordingly.

Who It’s For (eligibility & level)

Do I need prior UK EM experience to attend?

No – our teaching assumes mixed backgrounds. We’ll show you how to translate your current experience to RCEM exam expectations.

Do you support international doctors?

Yes – many of our candidates train outside the UK or have recently moved. We cover exam logistics, frameworks, and common pitfalls that trip up international candidates.

Can you signpost RCEM eligibility and documentation requirements?

Yes – see the RCEM ‘Eligibility and Adjustments’ page for the latest rules, documents, and deadlines. We’ll help you interpret the guidance, but RCEM makes the final eligibility decision.

Schedules, Locations & Delivery

Where are your in‑person venues and how do I get there?

We use quality teaching venues near transport hubs in central London. Full details and joining instructions are emailed after booking.

How far in advance should I book before an exam sitting?

Popular dates sell out quickly – most candidates book 4–8 weeks before their target sitting. If you’re closer to the exam, ask about last‑minute spaces or 1:1.

Do you offer on‑site training for departments or closed cohorts?

Yes – we can deliver bespoke courses at your Trust or region. Contact info@bridgemedicalcourses.com for a proposal.

Pricing, Invoicing & Funding

What do your courses cost?

Prices are listed on each course page. Request an invoice or PO if your Trust is funding it.

Do you offer early‑bird, bundle, or group discounts?

We periodically run early‑bird and group rates; email info@bridgemedicalcourses.com or join the mailing list for current offers.

Can my Trust pay by invoice or purchase order?

Do you provide receipts suitable for CPD/study budget reimbursement?

Yes – receipts include the right details for study budget claims. Many courses also include CPD hours.

Learning Materials & Ongoing Support

What pre‑course materials do I get, and when?

You’ll receive pre‑reads/checklists 5–7 days before the course so you can maximise practice time on the day.

Do you provide post‑course revision plans or OSCE station banks?

Yes – you’ll leave with a targeted revision plan, frameworks, and practice prompts. We also offer optional mock circuits and coaching.

Are recordings or an online portal available after the course?

Selected courses include post‑course access to slides or short recap videos – see your course page for details.

Can I book 1:1 feedback or coaching on weak areas?

Yes – book follow‑up coaching sessions focused on your specific gaps.

Mocks, Results & Feedback

Do you run full mock exams (theory/OSCE) that mirror RCEM formats?

Yes – our mocks mirror timing and structure, with feedback mapped to SLOs and marking domains.

Will I get structured feedback against RCEM SLOs/marking domains?

Yes – you’ll receive specific, actionable feedback tied to SLOs/curriculum areas so you know exactly what to fix next.

Do you offer a resit‑support pathway or discounted refresher?

Yes – email us for resit bundles that combine targeted coaching and mock stations.

Accessibility & Welfare

What accessibility adjustments can you make (in‑person/online)?

Tell us what you need in advance and we’ll make reasonable adjustments to the training environment and materials.

Do venues provide quiet/prayer spaces or breastfeeding facilities?

Where possible we book venues with these facilities – let us know any requirements at booking and we’ll confirm availability.

How do you support candidate wellbeing and exam stress?

We build in breaks, coaching on pacing and exam‑day routines, and signpost to wellbeing resources.

What is your cancellation and refund policy?

Our full policy is on the checkout page; we offer fair‑use refunds and transfers within set timelines.

Can I transfer my place to another date or candidate?

We use reputable platforms, store minimal data, and only record sessions where clearly stated and consented.

Tech for Remote Delivery

What are the tech requirements for live online sessions?

A stable connection, a laptop/desktop with webcam and mic, and a quiet space. Headsets strongly recommended.

Do you provide test calls or support for international connections?

Yes—book a quick tech check ahead of time if you’re overseas or on a hospital network.

What platform do you use and is it secure for small‑group breakouts?

We use Microsoft Teams with waiting rooms and named breakout groups for small‑group practice.

What should I know about test‑centre delivery partners?
